This was recorded during a European tour in 2008 with Bourelly's 2nd edition of his tribute group under the name Gypsys Reloaded. (The first edition was with drummer Cindy Blackman.)
It concert was held at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam.
Most of the tracks are from Hendrix's recording with the Band of Gypsys. Great intense playing by all three musicians.
They give respect to the original arrangement but as is always the case with Jean-Paul's groups, they do take it somewhere else. A good document for collectors done by one of the best interpreters of the music of James Marshall Hendrix.
