about

The basic track on Bourelly's Trippin' were self produced, recorded during several red eye sessions in 1987. Later tracks were added when Enemy records producer Michael Knuth got involved and got his young trio in the studio again to fill out rest of the CD which included the bright young drummer Rodney Holmes. This was Jean-Paul's second cd as a leader with standout tunes like Trippin', Garden of Love, and Diamond Ring. The moody side of the cd comes from tunes like Wild and Lonely and Sanctuary.
